YOU are the only one who can judge whether a certain mouthpiece is right for you. What we can do for you is helping you find the right mouthpiece, to save you an endless search for the right one. This does we by letting you try a lot of mouthpieces, asking the right questions and listen carefully to the impact of the different mouthpieces.

The engine behind BrassImport is Hans Govaart. As lead trumpet and sometimes as soloist in many orchestras, he is already 20 years on stage as a professional player. He's also a teacher and arranger. This, combined with his knowledge of the history, techniques and other interesting information concerning the trumpet, means that in the Netherlands you can hardly find someone who knows more of all the brands, factories, builders, techniques, contexts, gossip and new developments than he does. Modest as he is, he doesn't shout it from the rooftops that the Destino, the trumpet of Doc Severinsen, is developed together with Hans. As well as the GR S-Z models, and the Chicago V Bb-trompet of Taylor. But most of al he is the founder of the Feniks instruments.
